Another Weekly test of Dauphin County's fire sirens. This Model A is located on top of Hummelstown Chemical Fire Company, which is on Main Street at Hanna Street. This was a shorter activation than I thought it would be (Dauphin County 911's website says that they should run for 20 seconds) but it was nice to hear one of these fairly uncommon sirens. Dauphin County tests their fire sirens every Saturday at noon.

My old elementary school had three of those in the main hallway and one in the gym for fire alarms.

Interesting! That had to be quite loud in a school.
