Originally recorded on 11/5/16. This is a video of a 2T22 monthly test failure with Spartanburg County Tornado Siren Ambience. The Whelen 2903 ambience at the beginning of this video is actually the Wofford College's emergency alert siren. Spartanburg County activated their sirens about 7 minutes late. Spartanburg County (and Wofford College's Whelen 2903) is tested at the first Saturday of every month at 1:00 PM ET. This 2T22 did not activate with either a radio issue or siren does not work. Spartanburg County is no longer maintaining their sirens. So that means this 2T22 is not being fixed. Sorry about some wind gusts heard in this video and sorry for some talking, I was doing a Facebook Livestream for the first time.
This siren is located in Spartanburg, South Carolina at The Cleveland Academy of Leadership.
Sirens heard in this video: Whelen 2903, FS 2T22, and FS Thunderbeam/RSH-10
Radio Frequency: 154.3100 (Spartanburg County Fire and Rescue Dispatch)
