I have a horn/ siren that was made by Auth Electric Co. Inc. in Long Island City, NY. It is a model 1787 and appears to be in very good condition.
can anyone tell me anything about it- or what it might be worth and where I might sell it?
I also have a horn made by Benjamin Electric Mfg. Co. in Des Plains , ILL. Type SNP.
Looking for the same information
Thank you

You have to post them on another site like Photobucket, then copy and paste the URL from that site to this one using IMG.

Your Auth horn is a resonating horn, most likely a relabeled Federal 55. Since it's 120VAC you can easily run, and should make the classic NBA scoreboard "air horn" buzzer sound. The Benjamin horn is a vibratory horn, and like the Auth horn can be easily run off 120VAC, but will make a lower pitch buzz, most likely sounding like the Family Feud strike buzzer.
As for worth, providing they both work, you could get around $25 each on eBay.
Hope this helps
