If you ever get to Carroll County, tell me what they have in Delphi. They used to have an old, rusty Sterling M-10, but the last time I was there (years ago), it was gone. Flora and Pyrmont had one too.

That's a weird siren (the first picture of Montpelier). It looks like a Model 1 and Model 3, 5, or 7 crossed.
If your siren is a-failin'
Chances are that it's a Whelen
And if it's just about to die
Then it must be an ATI

siren 2

http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5703869 - unusual for a 2001
siren 3
http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5703867
http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5703868 - ok, blurry but still unusual for a 2001
siren 4
http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5703873 - all of the 2001's are like this. I could not figure out what model they went to but they had the old logo on them.

Mooreland,
http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5703865 - I believe this came from New Castle

Middletown,

Knightstown,

siren 2

Kennard,

Grant City,

Mechanicsburg,

I believe this one also came from New Castle. The EMA for Henry County took over all of the sirens in the county. They've been changing/updating things for a few years now. The Thunderbolt in Mooreland and this siren in Mechanicsburg where just put in this year.

That's all for now,

Yes, that is a Whelen Hornet. It's actually bigger than you would think. azman798, I'm pretty sure that South Bend has all or mostly 2001's. Here is a map of there siren system, http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5704352. All the pics of sirens I've ever seen from there are 2001's and this seems like a very comprehensive and well thought out layout. So I'm guessing that they all are 2001's.

I believe those speakers and the small siren on the Fire Station are part of the old VFD stuff. One of the people that work for me lives in Mooreland and said about 4 weeks ago that they no longer heard the sirens in there. Then last week she said she heard a new and much louder siren that turns and is bright yellow (she lives across the street). I was hoping for a yellow 2001 because they look cool, but a T-bolt is awsome as well.

Yeah, Topeka has 3 that i know of, not sure if there is anymore in the county anywhere. They look pretty cool in person.
