I stopped a woman who was walking by and asked her if she had ever heard a siren in the town and she said that it was in the very tower across the street. I'm not sure what it is but I'm guessing it's one of the Federal Model 2,3,5, or 7.

It's a model 5 with a dense screen mesh put on the outside.

They just put this one in the ground about 4 months ago. Two years ago they installed two 2001's, this year they installed this one, and next year they will install the last one to cover the north side of the town. They've also got an old fire siren downtown.
