You can access it on this web site's main page under Manuals and Literature.
During a test, I heard one in southeast Denver.
It was very loud, too loud, at ground level.
(I think that is a shortcoming - I think it would be preferred that it broadcast more horizontally for greater range.)
It produces C5 and F5 a perfect 4th which creates a raspy F3 resultant.

There appears a rather small clearance of the wide band surrounding the stator. Would like to see a photo and know what that clearance is.

My wife and I call it the garbage can siren.
(Englewood's non functioning Allertor reminds her of a toilet.)
Our 2t22 looks like a 22 resident bird condo.
A model 5 looks like a Soviet rocket.

An SD-10 is a regular siren assembly, looking somewhat like an STH-10, Having a ring around the rotor and two cones at the bottom and top of the stator.

It's nothing more than an upside down model 5T.

You can find a picture of what the inside of an SD-10 looks like in the siren museum on the main page.

There are also patent drawings floating around.

You can see the real inner workings of an SD-10 in the Siren Repairs section of J Marcoz.com, the site that hosts the Siren Archive.
If your siren is a-failin'
Chances are that it's a Whelen
And if it's just about to die
Then it must be an ATI

Just saw it! It looks like a STH-10 that is dual tone and has it's horns removed

In 2006, when I first visited JMarcoz, they showed a disassembled SD-10 and the various parts. Do I recall a bullet hole in the sheet metal?
Today, all I saw was photos of an SD-10 assembled. No detail. No stages in the repair of a broken part.
Am I looking in a wrong area?

Yeah, some guy, presumably pissed all the time, shot the siren, to try to keep it from sounding.
