I have an old Federal Ad that says "lets look at the facts" and shows a list of various cities that had Federal systems as of 1952 including Hartford which has a non functioning t-bolt system now, with a pic of a T-bolt on it. I'll have to dig it up and get a pic of it.

Those are VERY awesome. Antique ads are to be treasured. If any more pop up on ebay, museums should bid on these, especially if they have a cold war exhibit on display.

I also like the thunderbolt logo there! The logo with the "Circle F" federal logo is what I would call the Classic Thunderbolt logo, while the logo with the FS logo would be known as the "Contemporary Thunderbolt logo.
Federal Signal Thunderbolt Series, still the King of Air Raid Sirens!

I've never really been interested in those ads because they are cut out of magazines. They usually start at $9.99 a piece. I would rather get the whole magazine for that price. That's why I've never bid on any.

I once found a pic of an old ad for HOR fire engine sirens, but I don't know where it is right now.

How wonderful the Chrysler ad, out of Focus perhaps due
to its Incredible Sound Output
Brings back wonderful old memories
of vibration standing directly under the 45 foot tower
during the Attack Mode Test.
