The Siren Board

I was recently browsing eBay after Christmas and stumbled upon a listing for a Federal Signal model B-9 siren. Now I didn't know much about this siren, but after doing some research, I found out that it is similar to a Model A siren, but slightly smaller, so I decided to purchase it and today, it finally came . I plan to restore this siren and keep it in my collection (so far just this along with my Model A). I have not had much experience restoring sirens before and any help would be appreciated. Below I have attached some photos of the siren itself, the ID tag, and a size comparison with my Model A. Thanks .

Haha. That is a nice siren you got there. I have a B-9 too but I don't use it. It sees like your siren is from December 1969(?) Not sure though. But anyways have fun with your new siren!

The old high school in Silverton, Oregon, had Model A fire alarms in the main halls and B-9s in larger classrooms like the band room.

Ha! I saw that one on Ebay too while I was looking for a siren to buy(tho I ended up buying the Model L since there is more video's of them actually being used buy fire depts/cities.. But I was considering buying that siren, but I decided not too since I wouldn't have much money left I still wonder what it was used for
