Excellent! I have only heard one low-tone T-bolt in my life, but this one really reminds me of an STL-10. It would be really cool to save this siren if possible, especially if the city has plans to replace it with a new system.

An old board member made that, he also made a video of whelens in St.Louis doing a test, i will upload when i get home.

Emm hmm. That particular siren has now been replaced by a Whelen 4000 series. That Thunderbolt was, and consequently the Whelen that replaced it now is, visible from Highway 44 in Fenton (that's the Chrysler Plant you see in the background for quick moments throughout).

Also, If you listen during the wind-down, that hissing noise you hear is actually the glass shaking :D
