Best Electronic Siren Manufacturer

In your opinion, What is the best electronic siren manufacturer today. Your three choices are Federal Signal, American Signal, and Whelen. My favorite is Whelen because they specalize in the electronic siren industry. Today's Whelen sirens have a sound level of 500 Hz. Whelen's electronic sirens are almost as good as a Thunderbolt!
Federal Signal Thunderbolt Series, still the King of Air Raid Sirens!

Whelen because of the low penetrating tone they have.

My favorites are Federal Signal for popularity, American Signal for durability, and Whelen for quality.

In my opinion, you can't beat Whelen or Hormann in terms of electronic sirens!

Whelen and Federal Signal for tones and ASC for voice, specifically the
i-Force. The new i-Force was tested by Simplex Grinnell with their new inteligebility meter to have the highest quality voice out of any electronic siren.

I figured I'd share this. This is a recording I made last spring during the Ohio Statewide Tornado Drill. As first you hear Dublin's system of 2750s and 2805s doing wail, then about 30 seconds later Franklin County's system winds up in alert. The closest siren to me is a 4004 which is a mile from my house, then the second closest is a 3016 in Worthington about 2 and 1/2 miles away. If you listen carefully you can also hear the Smoky Row Rd. TBolt 1000T.

I would also throw in the American Signal E-Class, since it has better quality than an ATI.

Whelens of course!!! They are quality built, with a low tone that can be heard for over 3 miles. The voice quality is decent on them as well. Over all Whelens are the most effective, quality built sirens/electronic sirens produce today in my opinion.

SimplexGrinnell tested them? Wow that is odd. I did read something about mass notification on their site, but I didn't know that they sold sirens (or do they?).
