Another video

Thu May 10, 2007 3:32 am

I just finished uploading a fast attack mode on one of the 2001-130's in my city. Excuse the video quality . My camcorder is screwed so I used my digital camera you can barely see the siren rotating. The sirens will be sounding off every night in this mode for 10 PM curfew. Sound is good but video sucks , oh well . Tomorrow I will be heading off to a neighboring city and I am going to get some pics of their siren and hopefully a noon time test video . I will keep you all posted.

I agree. Great recording but that would suck to have that going off every night.

Do you live in a small town? I don't think sounding sirens at 10pm would be very effective in a large city, people would be complaining about the siren.

Population here is about 25,000 give or take . The old sirens Model 5 and the STH-10's did the same for many years , now the new ones have the duties of doing that. Not sure if they are still using the old ones since these new sirens are heavy hitters as far as sound is concerned.

I did a new recording of the same sirens but from a distance , you can hear some of the other sirens going off too. I judge the distance it was about a mile away give or take where I was at .
