Couldn't they just keep the old logo? Do they have to use that really crappy new one? (2005 version)

Not bad, but the lightning bolt goes behind the lettering

Well It's not much but here is the one I created. I used a picture I took of the one off of my T-bolt and then made this in paintbrush.

Not bad for me,

I have finally finished my Thunderbolt logos! I felt like taking on a challenge and doing the old-style Federal Sign and Signal logo, too. Here you go:

New Clear PNG:

New Backgrounded JPG:

Old Clear PNG:

Old Backgrounded PNG:

Enjoy! Took me about 45 minutes, I couldn't do it for about an hour - nobody probably even noticed the delay, though.

EDIT: Behind the scenes tour!
I started out with the old-style logo. I copied the logo from the US Patent site, then just drew over it onto a separate layer. Deleted the logo, then ta-da! You've got yourself a nice new logo.
I then found a "FS" logo from Google Images, made it red, then replaced the old Sign and Signal logo with it. I added the yellow background on both versions, then posted them here!

Nice drawing Matt, could you make the blue a bit bluer? Other than that, its almost identical.

StonedChipmunk, is there a way you could scale up your images just a bit? They need to be at least 10"x3". Other than that good job as well.

Ok, a bit more blue it is

Not sure about the sizing of mine, but I'll try to work it out to 10 by 3.

OK, I made them approximately 6" high (print size) and sharpened them a bit. They look a tad blurry, but once you downsize them they will look fine.

I don't want to take up 2 screens worth of images, so links only:

Old Logo - Clear (PNG)
Old Logo - Backgrounded (JPG)
New Logo - Clear (PNG)
New Logo - Backgrounded (JPG)

EDIT: For some reason, these images seem small. Maybe it's just me. Will they work? I set Fireworks to make them 22.4" by 6" - yes, they are a bit out of whack, but I couldn't get it just right. I'm really only posting these for archival purposes, so people can have them in the future... but hey, if you want to use them, be my guest.

I'm probably gonna go through CafePress for the bumper stickers since they have no minimum quantity on orders and its easy to buy though them.

Here is Matt's logo touched up (I swear the lightning bolt runs behind the wording but maybe I'm just crazy, its to dark to go outside and look):

Image

And here it is formatted to a 10"x3" format CafePress uses. Once we get some good high quality images going all of you guys will be able to purchase your own logos for $3.

I like StonedChipmunk's way of saving the images in the lossless .png file format. And yes I'm being nit-picky, but its gonna be an image well worth the time to many of us!

Well CafePress is being annoying when I try to upload the logos. It wont fit it to full size. Maybe someone else can see if they can resize the first image in my last post to fit. It's to late for me to mess with, I'm going to bed.

EDIT: 1850x500 pixels gets close.
