T-bolt Logo's (Updated with USPTO info & dates!)

Sun Apr 29, 2007 10:11 pm

I know this has been posted time and again, but could someone (Eric?) post up the T-bolt logo? I'm going to get some made up to place on my restored siren. Pix of the restoration at its current status coming soon!

Yes please :D

I too would like to make some, so maybe we could pool our efforts. I have a good contact to get die-cut decals made from photos.

Yes, that's a real 500-lb Federal SD-10 I'm holding (braggart!)

Thats the type I want. However, someone had some hi-res scans of two of the logos and the CD decal. I'm gonna get some made up, and have it where anyone can easily purchase them online.

Here, I got a SVG file of the CD logo if you want to use it:

Don't image link to it, I got enough images wasting my bandwidth away already. Host it on pages.google.com if you need to, since Photobucket doesn't support SVG files.

Alternatively, here's a PNG version if you don't have any programs that will support SVG (most browsers do, but I don't think Photoshop or anything does):

I'll try to work on the Thunderbolt logo later. The CD logo seemed easy.

Good CD logo StonedChipmunk.

Anyway, here is the USPTO assignments for both the old and newer logo...check it out!

EDIT: Wow, you can even see the exact date Federal changed their name, and the other Trademarks issued to them.

Haha, it looks like they are still renewing the Thunderbolt trademark. Last renewal was in 2005:

If the Thunderbolt label was renewed in 2005, I wonder what it would be like to bring back the Thunderbolt, but have it equipped with battery backup. It probably won't happen, but would be exciting. :D

That won't happen. They just renew it because it's their intellectual property and there are still many Thunderbolts out there bearing Federal's name.

Ahem....still looking for those hi-res logos, someone please post them up!
