AutoMatic Alarm Co. OC-9

Fri Aug 15, 2014 7:40 pm

I won one of these "Baby Darley" style sirens off of eBay earlier, it is an AutoMatic Alarm Co. OC-9 (per title) according to the ID tag. Since I know nothing about these sirens, can anyone educate me about them? I am guessing this little guy was built in 1952 according to the ID Tag, but again, I am not sure.

Here are some pictures of the siren from the eBay auction. No, these are not mine of course:

I have one made by Ademco. It is basically a Model A inside a large aluminum mushroom.

Siren got here today, I tested it with a car battery, and it ran very well, so to say. I'll try and get some pictures up later.
