Unknown horn

Mon Mar 03, 2014 1:45 am

FanFan61618 and I found this at a local marina today. The power to it was obviously cut, and we don't know who made it. Can someone help us identify it? Thanks!

It looks like one of those submarine diving horns that goes ARUGA.
I used to have one, but the mechanical part broke and all I have now is the horn. I can't recall what it sounded like though.

That is a cheap, 1960's imitation of a 1920's automotive klaxon. J.C. Whitney used to sell these and I have one. The new, high-pitched Chinese ones that Harbor Freight sells are better and louder than these.
