Side note, you can tell the 2700 from the 2900 by the lack of ez-pull and also the support colour, they're gray on the 2700 and black on the 2900.

The tones have been customized, the 2030 can be customized with any tone imaginable, the problem is the imagination and the copyright. I have heard a Westminster chime for a noon test. Plenty of variations on the wail and alert. The drivers have also been improved.

Care to source or prove that? There's plenty of Whelens doing custom things, like chiming (ex: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGvNhPHD8MY). But that's coming through a tone plugged through the digital voice option, not something that's being tone generated by the controller. Of course I could play anything out via something programmed via the digital voice chip. Its how Wichita Falls, TX plays back the T-Bolt sound via their 2800s, for example.
