Federal Signal Model 7A - Summerhill, PA

Sun Jun 30, 2013 7:04 pm

Well, on June 28th, my friend Tyler went to Altoona for railfanning. As he worked back, he went to Summerhill to see a 25Z train pass, well, the Model 7A suddenly started in Attack, so he rushed to a good spot and filmed it for a minute. We both agree it is a 7A, since it has a faster wind-up and maybe a three phase motor. The 7A is tested every Saturday at Noon. Enjoy his video, and look for a Wooster siren ambience with the new controllers and 2001-130s on MY channel tomorrow as well.

EDIT: Whoops! Here is the link, forgot it.

I know this siren, it's Station 86's, this is also in my area.
Radio Receivers: BCD996P2(Pri) and BCD325P2(Sec.) I am 33 and still a Woody Woodpecker fan and Poke fan too.

I've lived in Altoona for 24 years and I have only once happened to be near a siren anywhere in this general region while it was being activated, and you happen to catch one just visiting the area?!

Great video, by the way.
