I know this is an aging topic, (I hope you don't mind me bumping this) but I found a video from 2009 of a tornado warning in Denver, and you can hear a high-pitched Thunderbolt 1000A wind-up, and it's very close.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BF7rjvH1BA
So I looked around the area from where this Bumblebolt was, in the video you can see a building, which you can see in this Birds-eye view on Bing.
https://www.bing.com/maps?v=2&cp=qms1cc ... orm=LMLTCC
The bumblebolt is located south from the angle of the building shown in the birds-eye view, and in the video it sounds like the thunderbolt is coming from south of where the camera-guy was pointing at.
The thunderbolt 1000 heard in this tornado warning video, might be the Bumblebolt.
Nice work! It most likely is, that 6M on it isn't hard to miss. I wish they would've kept recording, that ambiance sounds awesome!

Thanks! and yeah you could hear it's vibrating sound from that 6M, That bumblebolt was active, because if you look on google maps at it, if you compare 2007's and 2011's view, you can see that it's facing a different direction.

Not to mention that the 130 didn't come along until 2011 or so. I really hate to know that the damn thing is probably metal shreds at the moment. That is unless someone knows something that I don't.

Maybe if someone looks around Denver's junkyards or scrap yards...

Ironically I'm currently in the Denver area... I'll keep my eyes open and see what I can find... I'm in a big rig though so my options are limited... EDIT: oh yea that sounds like an old thunderbolt alright...

From what I've heard from various sources, Blue Valley did the work and the song goes, unless the old siren is magically still there, it's gone forever.

Well that means the relic is probably gone...

Well... if it's any help, I did see one of the old SD-10s still there in Denver... but yea I mean unless one of us goes and actually peaks at the building it's 50/50. But I'd guess that even if it's there, there is at least a 75/25 that it isn't running. Maybe even higher than that.

There's a Thunderbolt 1000T still standing on a former fire station. Probably inactive https://www.google.com/maps/@39.7696066 ... 312!8i6656
