Oh, I can assure you Gil knows what a Banshee is. Most every member that has been here for a year or two knows what they are. He was puzzled by the way SirenCollector answered in his post. I'm also kinda wondering too. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense except saying "BANSHEE!!"

Most likely they did...seems like all of the 10HP sirens also came in 7HP variants, usually single phase.

I'd say I'd put in all Whelen WPS units and Vortex units.
Blades will bleed. Shields Will Shatter. But as the light fades, will the Hero rise again? Or will darkness rein?

i said "banshees!?!" because i was surprised a siren as overlooked as a banshee would get picked.
Bringing the joy of siren collecting to the chicago area and more!

For Mechanical, I would use FS Thunderbolt 1000Ts and FS 2T22s. As for electronic, I would use the Whelen WPS 2900 series or the Federal EOWS a.k.a. SiraTone series

Federal Signal Thunderbolt Series, still the King of Air Raid Sirens!

I'd choose the good ol' thunderbeam.

I'd buy a bunch of i-FORCE sirens (and AL-x000s of various sizes as needed for placement on dangerous buildings i.e. prison, mental ward, fire dept., etc. or high-volume ambient noise areas) and place them so they are sure to overlap each other in normal/slightly irregular conditions.

I would have chosen Federal Signal's Modulator and DSA, but they probably cost more, they don't work with CompuLert, and they don't have as many tones. I also like how ASC's electronic sirens can also switch from 100 watts to only 6 watts (per speaker driver) for testing and servicing without hearing protection (or public confusion). It just seems that with ASC, you get more for your money (however, I have never seen an i-FORCE or AL-x000 in a recording or in person... they must not have much popularity).
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence indicating that you tried.
