Based on what your own knowledge, what siren system do you put in place?

I would place, where appropriate, a system of T-128s, T-112s, T-121s, and if needed, a T-135 or Cyclone C-125. And I choose because of the features, and the low tone. :P

I'd choose A.S.C., because they have CompuLert, their sirens are well-equipped and they have some pretty solid products.

Me, I'd go with what ever I can get my hands on. Although I would throw in at least one T-bolt and Klaxon

I chose ATI, and not out of pity. I like ATI's, they are not expensive either, expescially for the sound radius of the unit.

I would probably choose the lowest bid, and it also depends on the size of the community. I would probably choose either Whelen vortex or ASC t-128s because of there low tones and they are both comparable in dB ratings. The vortex r4 has 129@100 feet so i would probably go with the vortex

But don't forget about the speaker blowouts though. They say an electronic siren is only good about 20yrs, whereas, a mechanical siren such as a T-128 is good for probably 30+.

Custom made siren that includes 6 Chryslers each driven by a 200hp DC motor arranged in a circle pointing out plus a few 2T22s and a couple EOWS 612s with voice near the edge of town.

My vote goes to Whelen, because it has a clear signal and a great voice system. I would get a 2910 system.
