Did they replace the Axtell NE 1003 with a 2001?

They replaced the last Thunderbolt in Scottsbluff, NE. Its still on aerial views, but it sadly got replaced by a Whelen 2905 recently. RIP Scottsbluff Thunderbolts😢

Just found this map and can't find any info using the search function on here, and I don't want to look through all 18 pages of this thread... Does anyone have any information on the 1000T listed as privately owned, but shows smack dab in the middle of the Illinois rock river? Description states "Disassembled and at the bottom of this river in this exact location" Coords are 41.792179, -89.664365

That's owned by a contributor, and the owner of the map thought it'd be a good idea to put the placemark there. The unit is actually in his garage.

Thanks. I had hoped that was the case, but wanted to find out if there was a crazy story behind it.

In Savannah, GA there is a Thunderbolt that was seen in Forest Gump.

Been gone since 2003. It was a 6M 1000 if I remember correctly. Ed Wise got it and I recall hearing that the only thing that could be saved off of it was the blower. I may be wrong but that is what I remember.

I am pretty sure the Menifee, AR Thunderbolt 1000 is inactive. I went there 1 year ago and the Sentry 16V1TB next to it went off, but nothing was heard from the 1000.
