I would agree that running one of those things in a parade at street level with the stock blower would definitely cause some damage; it would be grounds for prosecution for assault with a deadly weapon.

I don't know about that, but reckless endangerment comes to mind.

Maybe just bring the casing to the parade and rig it to do something else completely when you throw the switch or something
