Cool pic of a siren in Hays, KS

Well I am a "fan" of Ellis Co. EM and he posted this on his page today with the title:
"Guess what it is and where I am on a hot Friday afternoon."...

Pretty neat picture. Don't know WHERE in Hays it is, but I do know Hays has a bunch of allertors and a few 2t22s.

Nice photo. Looks like the radio/control box was left open, though.
STATUS: Taking a break from ARS until late July.

My guess is that the picture was taken while some maintenance was being performed.

Also looks like a nice heavy HP Spectrum Analyzer under the radio box that had to be carried up to the roof :wink:
