Visible differences Whelen 2700 / 2800 / 2900 series

The 2700 and 2800 series look pretty much the same, although there are slight differences. For the 2900 series, you will see an access panel on the side of each speaker-driver module, similar to what you would see on a FS Modulator. This allows the driver to be removed and replaced without having to unstack the modules such as would have to be done on a 2700 or 2800 series.

Thanks for replying! I have found a few images of the different versions:
Whelen 2750
Whelen 2805
Whelen 2905

Just to check that I have all of my info correct:

The 2700 had silvery gray struts (the supports around the edge of the driver modules) that look straight when viewed side-on. The 2800 and 2900 have black struts that look slightly C-shaped when viewed side-on.

The 2700 had screens close to the speaker cells, and some also had a screen around the outer edge of the unit. The 2800 had screens closer to the outside of the unit, rather than around the speaker cells. The 2900 has screens close to the speaker cells.

The 2900 has a driver access panel on the side of the modules, whilst the 2700 and 2800 do not.

All correct?

Regards,
Jerry.
