I cannot for the life of me figure out what this siren is.
Since I don't know how to post pictures of street view, the siren is on top of a fire station in Thornton, Colorado at Dorothy Road and Nagel Drive. Could someone please try to ID it?

Oh to me it looks like an STL-10 with some missing projectors(Horns.)

Edit: Looks like I was beaten to the punch, here it is anyway.

Here's the picture. As to my guess, I really have no idea. Could be an air horn system, or an almost hornless STL/STH-10 siren with the vertical piece being the motor. The picture is too blurry to tell.

Thanks, guys. I guess the only way to find out what it is is to drive by there and see. I'm assuming it belongs to the fire department, because I just now read an article about Thornton that says "we don't need sirens because people can just look outside because mother nature gives its own warning."

Siren #1 is a model 5/7 8 port.

Siren #2 is a Darley Champion.

Siren #3 is a Sterling Vertical Siren and #4 is a model 2 siren(Both sirens were sadly destroyed in a fire.)

and Siren #5 is a Sterling Horizontal Model.

Just as we were riding Mt. Nebo Rd. last week, we passed a siren I long have been looking. I have heard it before, but never was able to locate it.

As far as I remember, it sounded like a Model 5. One of the Sterling Verticals, perhaps?[/i]

Yes that is a Sterling Vertical Model, I can tell by the legs and housing of the siren.
