Sounds like the first 1003's blower failed to activate, or it was extremely underpowered.

Judging by the sound of the second 1003's blower, I'm guessing that it may be a single phase unit. It's having solenoid problems, but it still sounds great.

The Modulator had the best voice quality I've ever heard on a Mod.

The speed on that T-bolt's rotation is incredible. One could get dizzy watching it.

The 2nd 1003, the soleniods are activating while the firefighter was pushing the TEST button for like 10 sec's. It may be normal, or not. And it's single phase. since the tags on the cabinets only say 1000, and 1003.
i've noticed that all of the older RCM cabinets always are marked 1000 even if it's a 1003.

I agree with Josh, I think the blower on the Charlotte siren isn't activating. why?

1) you can hear both tones from the chopper (if one solenoid was stuck, it'd sound pretty much like a 1000)

2) you can't hear the blower hum at all

3) on the wind down, there's no drop in output which would correspond with the blower turning off.
