News coverage on new Dallas, Tx sirens going up

I believe the new Dallas sirens are on galvanized poles. At least that's that they look like to me without stopping an looking closer. This pic I took of the one at Royal and Skillman looks like it has a welded seam down the length of the pole.

I have heard something about a Modulator/electronic for a flood siren, though I don't know if this is true.

There is a Modulator down by Love Field on a side street up the creek from Bachman lake.
