Sterling Little Giant Garage Test

I've had this Little Giant sitting around for a while and I've started working on fixing it up again. As you can see in the pic below, it's heavily corroded. The siren sounds good in this video, but has some motor problems where it won't start if it comes to a stop in the wrong position.

Wow that wind down goes on forever. Mine wouldn't wind down like that even if I pulled the brushes out. Does yours have iron rotors or something?

Yes, it does have cast iron rotors. Are yours aluminum? The rotors are very heavy and are also heavily corroded. One of them has some holes in the bottom to where you can see light through it from being corroded through. I probably need to bondo it or something else along those lines.
