Flint, Michigan Thunderbolt

Mon May 04, 2009 2:29 am

This is my two videos from this past saturday of the same siren location.
This siren, when I first reported the failure, I was told it had been taken off the system and it shouldn't have gone off. But I received an e-mail back stating that it was supposed to have been sounding and it was still part of the system.

So here is the two video's i took.

This one is with my Panasonic Lumix Digital camera.
As compared with my 2001 video, it works alot better when zoomed in.

And the 2nd video. This was taken with my sony handycam on a tripod

I'm guessing the chopper motor is completely locked up. You can hear the blower drop in pitch a little every once in a while while the 2001's were sounding in Attack, and I'm guessing that those pitch drops were caused by the locked up chopper motor trying to start. I noticed that it doesn't drop in pitch any once the other sirens start sounding in Alert.
