Ok The first one is from my day in Sioux Falls when they had the city test, not the county test.
All the sirens in Sioux Falls are 2-way & consist of 2001's of various models. This was supossed to be an ambience test but this one & several others said I might have a prob so I was at this one, Next time.

The city polls or Quiet test all the sirens before they sound an audible test so as to ID possible siren failure in any unit.
Then they perform the audible test & get feed back again, then they poll it one more time.
Since there are so many sirens in the city itself they won't test the county & the city in one day for the reason that it will take hours to read the data.
The sirens for the rest of the county are test on the first Sat of each month at 11:00 PM (CDT)
This is the 2001*130 that replaced a 3t22 & yes its on a class one pole which isn't rated to hold a 2001 class siren let alone a 3t22 siren.
It runs in Wail (Take Cover) Signal then shuts down after a minute

And yes it is utalizing the old 3 phase connections
This siren is on the West side of Valley Springs & has a faulty CMS which is why it fails to wind down when it is supposed to. You'll notice that the pitch jumps around.

This 1003 on the East side runs in the Steady High-Low (Fire) Signal.
Note: Both FSCs no matter which button you press wheter it be alert, wail or fire, the sirens will sound their respective High-Low signals.

I wasn't totally satisfied with the VS recordings so i will be going back....again :P

The clolset thing to a ambience test is right here, hey, for the next recording, you should place one of your cameras to get a system recording of both 1003's going off...that would be awesome!
