Brookings County Auxiliary 1 P.M. County Wide Test Aurora SD

Fri Feb 06, 2009 12:26 pm

I had a feeling that they didn't test on Tuesday (I was asleep all day that day) & I went out & recorded this, ok so it puts my schedual off but I got it.

Sorry for its shortness, but the city officals really don't want to disturb the citizens by having it run very long, so the amount of time it runs will very depending on who is at the shut off switch.

Noticed the Darley at the bottom of the 10V, it was simply left there to rot.
It is basically to Model 5 choppers attached to a dual shaft motor.

Actually you can. See that flare on the end of the stator? And that is the same port shape and design as a sterling on that siren. Federal and Sterling rotors are different if you know what to look for.

A Model 5's rotor is more rectangular from the side. Considering that Darley bought allot of Federal Signal internal parts, that means that there would've been a double Model 5. *Keep dreaming, Peter!*
Great video, nonetheless! :D
