Large Thunderbolt

Doesn't this thunderbolt look abnormally large with this guy standing next to it?

Must had been taken at a bad angle- the perspective is greatly thrown off in this shot.

I'd be more inclined to lean towards a Photoshop job. Everything else looks to be in perspective.

It was neither a "bad angle" nor a Photoshop job. I just happened to take that picture as the guy was walking by on the roof. The T-Bolt was on an elevated section of roof and that helps lead to the guy looking small. i think the support cables coming across also help throw the view off. It's a normal T-Bolt though.

Looks like a normal size, and I agree with the opinion that it looks big due to a funny angle. I say maybe it's a real estate photo... Brokers walking around a building that's getting ready to go up for sale, taking pictures for the listing. Siren happened to be in the picture.

Yes, that's a real 500-lb Federal SD-10 I'm holding (braggart!)

For me, when looked up close, thunderbolts seem bigger for some reason.

Now that you mention it, notice that green floor that guy is standing on? It traces (sort of) around the platform that the Thunderbolt is sitting on.

It's frigging hard to spot though. Bloody good optical illusion. :D

Good photo illusion!
Man is on a lower level. Siren is closer on an upper level - mechanical room? White obscures the delineation.
