I have a lot of respect for him, being that he was one of the first board members, and he has contributed a lot to our knowledge base. Just hope he pulls through.
Yes, he is definitely the backbone of the siren community!

You're in my prayers and thoughts, Chase. He definitely is one of the ?founding fathers? of this siren enthusiast community.

Wow, I used to see that hospital occasionally on my drive to work. Chester is where Community Professional Loudspeakers, Inc. is located (where I used to work).
Say NO to excessive siren testing - overtesting desensitizes the public.
Say NO to voice siren systems - multiple origins = unintelligible audio.

A lot of events popping up with proceeds going to help Chase around here. The Norwood Fire Department is having a Beef and Beer dinner http://www.lancasterfire.com/board/cgi- ... p=1#000000 and Parkside is arranging their own dinner for him also http://parkside45.com/fullstory.php?50559. Visiting is still limited to family only, as soon as they open it up to other firefighters.. I will head up and send along everyone's well wishes.

Oh man. The last time I talked to him was 7-8 years ago in the old warningsirens.org board era. That is absolutely terrible. I really hope he is alright.
