Penetrator 10 picture

Sun Aug 26, 2007 3:35 pm

Image

A lone Penetrator siren sits in the backdrop of TMI's decommissioned cooling towers, a silent reminder of its ill fate 28 years ago.

it looks real, but this picture is actually photoshopped. The penetrator picture was taken in a town a few miles away, which is well outside the EPZ. This particular P-10 is at a municipal building, awfully low to the ground, and hardwired - there are no radio controls on it at all. must be for civil defense or something, and coincidentally we have P10s for TMI as well.

Actually that was made by a guy on a different board. He live fairly close to TMI I would say. Yeah he made that so he could use it as his desktop.

actually, I'm that guy. Hi, I'm Dan!! :D

the desktop picture I made a few weeks ago was similar, but a little different. I had a different P-10 at a different angle, and I had the active towers in the background. this time, I specifically wanted a background of the dead towers with a P10 pointing away from the plant to give it more of a "freaky" look. plus, the other picture, you could clearly tell was photoshopped if you looked along the outside edges of the P10.
