In the last photo, is that antenna/beacon thing a post-deactivation install, or was it there when the siren was active?
Sirens may not be sexy, but they sure work.

I believe it was installed when the siren was. It has been on there ever since I first saw it over 30 years ago.

I like how the first bolt has a bench ware the blower was I don't know why but I like it a lot. I wonder if its called the siren bench lol.

Lol I don't know if it has a name but that is a good one. This one appears to have been preserved by the city of Dallas. When I was a kid, I remember a fence around the blower box there when it was still active.
