Siren Coverage

Mon Jul 02, 2007 6:16 am

I was wondering what i should put as the mileage for siren coverage for the following siren models:
Current i use:
Thunderbeam - 1.mile
STL-10/Model 5/Model 2/xt22/Banshee single tone - .5Mile
STH-10/Banshee dual tone .7 Mile
Sterling M - .5 Mile
Are these correct?
Perhaps Ben can help me on this because i recall some sort of "Figure out siren coverage" thing on his previous website.
I would greatly appreciate it!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but isn't a siren's mileage measured to the 60dB perimeter? Taking into consideration ambient noise levels.

Federal says 70db, but 60 is fine as well.
