Three Mile Island sirens

Sun Jun 17, 2007 7:22 pm

looks like I found the perfect place to upload my TMI siren pictures and recordings.

This is the P-10 I recorded last year. This sits along Marsh Run Road in Lewisberry, visible from the PA turnpike.

A P-10 along Starview Road in Mount Wolf/Manchester, PA

The P-10 along Wago Road in York Haven at the Brunner Island power plant.

A Cyclone C-125 along Codorus Furnace Road in York/Mount Wolf at the intersection of Tower Road.

A Federal Signal 2001SNRB on Codorus Furnace Road.

This is along Potts Hill Road in Newberry township. It's a Cyclone C-125 and a new FS 2001. The cyclone just sits there unused, no wires run to it. this is the one that malfunctioned and roared for 45 minutes one night in early 2002.

These are my town's Cyclone C-125 doing fire calls. it does two rounds of fire, which is 2 long attack signals.

I will upload my recording of last year's 5-minute TMI siren test with a P-10 blaring, then post it here.

It has the same motor and chopper as the T-135. Basically, its an
omni-directional T-135
