Jings, it's been a while. Happy to have seen Jason B get access to the map, or there'd be a massive stack of locations to add! Late last year, I became an apprentice and have been working ever since, so I apologise for not logging in more often.

We have over 200 pins! And many more locations to discover which is a nice thing to see. The UK had around 7000 warning points during the Cold War, no doubt many are long gone since they were stood down in 1991. All good stuff.

Updates:

Added two Sellafield Site sirens and updated the site pins. Many thanks to Tristan Gillett for that.

Added more information to the Heysham warning siren. From experience on site now that I work in the industry, I had some more information which lined up with the siren's use, signal and location.

Added more siren system markers because some known systems had markers and others didn't. It's reversible too if it isn't up to snuff.

there is a siren at Bristol airport, there is a photo sphere on the main runway and you can see a Klaxon ES1/2S near the storage tanks. there is a federal signal informer at Shirehampton primary school, this apart of the Severnside siren system. there is a siren at Taffs Well quarry just outside Morganstown in Cardiff. I've got a picture of the activation computer for Grangemouth's MICC system and using that as a ref to where the sirens are. also Grimsby and Cleethorpes flood sirens have been decommissioned since December 31st 2020

Also i do know where all sirens are on the Portsmouth Naval Base:
Siren 1: 50.79972, -1.11009
Siren 2: 50.80502, -1.10944
Siren 3: 50.80282, -1.10345
Siren 4: 50.8043, -1.09508

Also these locations need correcting:
53.48165, -2.06433 (Stepan) is a Klaxon (well at least running a Klaxon controller) its not a ECN-600 as the horns are clamped to the pole not Hörmann's modular system

Both of stanlow refinery's sirens are SiRcom SiBT-1500's not ECN3000's

53°17'05.0"N 2°53'09.9"W this siren is a SiRcom SiBT-2400 not a Klaxon ES4, the horn shape is not klaxon, its SiRcom

Eastham refinery siren is a GP8, not GP12

The siren in Carrington is a 2001-130 not 2001-SRN

RAF Fairford (All four sirens)
Siren 1: 51.68591, -1.7829
Siren 2: 51.6881, -1.77322
Siren 3: 51.67948, -1.78504
Siren 4: 51.68057, -1.7652

There is a siren at Scotlands Secret Bunker: 56.2701, -2.69849

If I have time I'll try pinpoint the Bristol sirens. With regards to the Grimsby sirens, are you saying they killed all of the Hörmann sirens on New Year's Day? Seems quite a shame if they did.

Ahhh finally. Any idea as to where on the docks?

Great news about Fairford. I've only seen the two sirens pinned in person. EDIT: The two original sirens are now gone, the DSA doesn't exist and the Whelen is not a floodlight stand by the looks of it. I've found an ATI looking thing with your co-ordinates for siren 4, and I've found another at the entrance. See map for details. Nice to know there's more. Also nice with the Scotland bunker siren.

Funnily enough, these aren't points I've added! It's someone elses efforts. Re: Eastham refinery, how can you tell its a GP8? Streetview shows barely anything and I'm wondering if you've driven by or something.

I'll slowly work through these. Perhaps someone else editing the map can help too?

Those apparent ATI’s at RAF Fairford are Whelen’s. If you go into street view you can clearly see they are whelen’s.

Thanks!

Did some more digging with RAF Fairford. Turns out it was originally a 2005 vintage system of Modulators, with some Whelen 2800s added in later. Then, in the 2010s they removed one Whelen and one Modulator and have replaced the rest with ATI looking things in 2018. Anyhoe. It's a proper systsm and it's been marked as such.
