Got a good one for you. This is Alpharetta, Georgia's former CD siren, which was used from 1945 to 1986. I found it in a February 2000 article in AJC on newspapers.com. Me and some others are guessing it is a Sireno or a Federal. What say ye?
The reason why it looks different is because the bottom of it is very rusty.Traxstar1825 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 23, 2018 3:44 amActually now that I look at the model ax, the front looks the same but the body of the siren looks different... Any other ideas?Chicagosiren-hunters wrote: ↑Fri Jun 22, 2018 11:24 pmWhat you have there appears to be a Federal Model AX blast-proof siren.
The siren up front appears to be a Federal Model D, not an A. An A would have a smaller intake that that, and wouldnt flange out as much. The other two are a more interesting story: They appear to be Benjemin Electric KM-8200's, like the one on eBay below. I have never seen sirens like that in the wild before, and as soon as I saw the shape I knew they were familiar! It could be a modified version or a champion.ACAAllertorManiac wrote: ↑Tue Jul 03, 2018 12:37 pmFire station In Grafton,NY. At first may look like a model 5 without its bottom louver, but the top cap looks different than a model 5. Anyone know?

Definetley not a champion. They have completely different styled top caps. GCS perhaps?jacob585 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 03, 2018 2:00 pmIt could be a modified version or a champion.ACAAllertorManiac wrote: ↑Tue Jul 03, 2018 12:37 pmFire station In Grafton,NY.
