There's no way that Thunderbolt was installed in 1956. We already established in a Discord conversation that it had a 4M size blower, which wasn't introduced until 1965.

Well then what is it? because the fire chief said that it was installed in 1956. does that mean it has a 5 or 6M blower?
That just means that he got the installation date wrong.jacob585 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 25, 2018 11:06 pmWell then what is it? because the fire chief said that it was installed in 1956. does that mean it has a 5 or 6M blower?
Side note: yes IF it were installed on that date it would have a 5 or 6M. Unless I’m not remembering my dates right.
welp That makes more sense because I thought they were still Federal Enterprises at that time.
Well that's a rather rude way to put it.Jared H wrote: ↑Thu Jun 28, 2018 4:00 pmAll of Marshfield’s Thunderbolts, of which this is the only one left, were installed between 1969 and 1972, as evidenced by the “SERIES A2” stamped into the RCM tag.
The fire chief is WRONG. He is not some holy figure who’s words you should never doubt. He’s wrong. If this siren were installed in ‘56 as you so stupidly claim, it would have a 6M blower, the blower cover would not have vents in it, and it would probably have a shorter rotator box.
The chief is wrong. End of story.
Actually I was thinking a 65 install because 4M were released in 65 they could have got 56 and 1965 mixed up. or its a blower switch of some sort because that thing has had many part replacements.Jared H wrote: ↑Thu Jun 28, 2018 4:00 pmAll of Marshfield’s Thunderbolts, of which this is the only one left, were installed between 1969 and 1972, as evidenced by the “SERIES A2” stamped into the RCM tag.
