This has been such a fun thread, even if it has been a wild goose chase to look for sirens long since removed. Thanks for all the info y'all.

Pretty interesting info, thanks for sharing!

For the “114dBC” sirens, I am wondering if these are Banshees or something else.
They are Federal Signal Model 7's to be tied into the system that are Pre-existing fire sirens at local fire departments.

For what it's worth, supposedly Cook Nuclear power plant in Michigan supposedly had a square horn Hurricane at some point.

A Hurricane 130? That's a rarity! Do you know where the sirens are stored or what happened to them?

Wouldn't even know where to begin. I doubt they have records of any of that stuff and I'm willing to bet it was scrapped or its lying in some lean too covered in leaves and brush rotting away never to be seen again.. Safe to assume it's gone.

A possibility could be that the sirens are stored in a warehouse at the plant site, or that the sirens were sold to municipalities. This is also what i am assuming had happened to the sirens that were part of the nuclear power plant that was in my state as well.

Is there any way you could contact them? You could E-Mail them & maybe they'll tell you what happened to them. Perhaps they could be for sale if they are still in storage.

Yeah! That'd be awesome to ask for. I'll have to ask the main offices/warning office. Of course, it's possible they went to West Shore and got scrapped. I'll ask some of the staff.

I don't think that the sirens would've gone to West Shore. But go ahead and give the plant a call!
