Just out of curiosity. Does anyone in the area of Trexlertown heard the STH-10 lately? The last time I heard it was on January 11th. Just to make sure the siren is not deactivated because if it is, I'll try to acquire it.
I'm not sure how I missed this. I've been passed the Cetronia Volunteer Fire Company how many times and I have never seen this. A Whalen 2X05 located on the social hall. I don't know if it's active. Most likely not. Wow.....
I'm currently working on maybe acquiring the Whelen 2805 from the Cetronia Vol. Fire Company. I will be very pleased and will take pictures of it if I do receive it. Wish me luck. Hope they have it. By the way, the STH-10 is active and working.
Sadly no longer active. This STH-10 is located in Trexlertown at the Trexlertown Volunteer Fire Company off of Hamilton Boulevard. The last time I heard it was on Jan 11th around 7pm. Hopefully it will be reactivated and put back into service. It'll be a shame if they shut it off and let it rot.

After being deactivated for nearly three months, the STH-10 in Trexlertown has been reactivated a went off for the first time. The problem was that the siren was having radio trouble and timer problems. Although the siren's fire signal, has not changed and sounds like it did before it broke. I wished I got the tones rerecorded, but who knows if it was still broken. If you listen closely, you may hear pitch fluctuations because of it being extremely windy.
