A while ago the Saco Central Fire Station in Saco, Maine was put up for sale. The thing is, on top of the building was a Whelen 3016, which was installed in 2005 and was sold from the Maine Yankee Nuclear Power Plant, who had removed their sirens after their decommissioning.
Here you can see where it was placed on google maps, you just need to go back to 2009 to see it installed:

Unfortunately, the siren is now gone as the fire station was recently sold and was turned into apartments. What i am curious about is, where did it go? Was it sold online, or did the Maine Yankee take it back to their siren junkyard (which I'm curious on where it is, I've been looking for it for a while).
Hope it didn't get scrapped
