Not sure if this has been mentioned here before, but I'll post it anyway. So, while I was working on the Nebraska Statewide Siren map, I happend to stumble across Lodgepole, NE where I sawed this. Any idea what this is? https://goo.gl/maps/HKqGJST9rMo

I don't think that's a blower box myself. That meter and transformer looks like there was a farm building next to it as there is what seems to be the remnants of a foundation pad or something.

Yea I Get What You Mean Now. If You Got Back To Like 2005 Ariel There Is A Building There.

And Also If You Look At The Newest Ariel You can See The Box Is Gone But Not In 2013. :D

Apologies for the awful photo. This siren turned up in a photo of Flowery Branch, Georgia (on the right) from 1985. Calvin H. and I believe it is a Decot, however I am not entirely sure. I wanted to post it here and see what you all have to say. The building the siren is at still exists (It's the PD nowadays), but the siren is gone unfortunately.

Possibly a Sterling 2V8 or a Model 3

It's too large to be a 2V8. 3 is a good guess.

Looks like a heavily modded Sterling. The base and the stator assemblies (rotor, stator, end bells, etc.) give it away to me.

No. There were never any Federals in Hall County, GA until they got their first mods in the late 90s as far as I know.
