Harry O. Ricci if I remember correctly; the company's founder. I think this has been discussed before.

I always thought it was supposed to be "Hear Our Roar". After all, they do have a picture of a tiger in one of their ads.
I have an unhealthy obsession with mini sirens.

I'm fairly certain that was nothing but a sales pitch.

I didn't feel the need to respond because I would've said pretty much the same thing Brendan did. Now that 'Hear Our Roar' was brought up... Yeah..
Anyways, 'Hear Our Roar' was a phrase they used for marketing. There have been misconceptions about 'Hear Our Roar' being what the name stands for. I can assure you though, that it stands for Harry O. Ricci, as mentioned earlier. Besides 'Hear Our Roar' would be quite unprofessional as a company name.
Proud owner of a 4/5 Thunderbolt, Federal Sign & Signal SD-10, large Heath Engineering Siren, and a bunch of smaller sirens.

Seen a: KM Europ, small Klaxon siren and a Gents' of Leicester "ahooga" horn.
Also a big fan of both Apollo and Protec fire alarms.
