I found a very short mount aswell, a Federal Signal 2001-SRN is mounted and doesn't even make it 1/4 the water tower height.

Damn! That's pretty low, probably to the point where the camera is in line with it.

Hey... one thing we've never discussed: by "lowest" do we mean "in relation to the ground" (because we've seen ground mounted ones) "low mount to loud ratio" (where low loud sirens are counted as being "lower" than low mounted quieter sirens) "lowest in elevation" (because how would we measure that?) or finally, "the person watching is at or above the level of the chopper?"

It seems to be anything you think is notably low in any of those aspects.

This one in Covington, TN seems rather low:

Here are some low mounted ones, located in Duquesne, Pennsylvania. I am sure they are all inactive, probably old CD sirens seeing as how the town is part of the Pittsburgh metro area. They may have been already posted, but oh well. A retoast never hurts.

Welcome to Pennsylvania, where test days are few and far between. However, where there is one, you can find the recordings here! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTiIF1 ... q5mZXtMDnw

Allertor in Tipton, KS: https://goo.gl/gaF9t7 Literally about a foot off the ground. For being a siren of this size, it's extemely low!
