Re: Michigan Siren Location Maps- A work in Progress

Here's a map of the Kent County siren locations. The ones around Grand Rapids are accurate for the most part, but the Thunderbolt 1000T is actually at 77 Monroe Center (the map shows it further north, up by Lyon St.)

Hope that helps!

Several of them are mounted on top of buildings and are hard to spot (like the one I thought was the misplaced thunderbolt - finally figured out it's a 2001 on top of Ford Fieldhouse, whoops).

I'm working on mapping out the ones I've confirmed in Ottawa & Kent counties though, I'll plop that in here soon.

I have one to add to the Eaton County map. There is an STH-10 at Potterville park at East Main st. and Murphy blvd (near the library). You can see it from hwy 100. It is the only STH-10 in Eaton County that I am aware of.

I was on vacation in Dearborn / Detroit for the Ford museum and then the Metallica concert. They've got a decent mix of 2001-DCs and modulators up there.

All the sirens I've confirmed for Ottawa and Kent counties. Still a work in progress, but I think I've gotten the bulk of Ottawa county at least. There's a couple of random ones in there that I've spotted in the wild as well.

Great, though it's missing a few, like the 2001 at Taft Road/Boulder in Novi and also the 2001 on 6th street in Holland is an SRNB now.
