Madison County, Ohio test time

Sun Nov 13, 2016 8:56 pm

Does anyone happen to know when Madison County, Ohio tests their sirens? On the Siren Database, it says that they test every Thursday at noon, however, I do not know if that information is reliable, as that website has not been updated for several years (as far as I am aware). If someone could give me information on this, I would appreciate it.

Plain City tests on Wednesday at Noon.

Now, I'm not sure if the rest of Madison Cty tests then or not, seeing as Plain City runs their 911 dispatching through Union County.

Hey, sorry for the late reply. I'm wondering, do you happen to know whether the STL-10 in Plain City is working or not? Me and a friend of mine are planning on going to it this Wednesday for the Statewide Tornado Drill, but if it's not working, I'd like to know so I can change plans. Also, if you happen to know their siren activation frequency, that would be appreciated. Here's the STL-10 I'm referring to: https://www.google.com/maps/@40.1038263 ... 1664?hl=en

I drove out to Plain City about a month ago to check on this siren and I believe it's still hooked up to power and the switch appeared on.

AFAIK, it still is operational. They apparently also had another STL-10 years ago, probably where the 2001 is now.

Unionville Center also has an STL-10.
