In our continued effort to make sure our warning systems are functioning properly for Hamilton County, we initiated the test from an alternate location in the county to set off the outdoor warning sirens. In the process, we discovered a gap at the location and the sirens did not sound for the test today.
We apologize for the inconvenience and are diligently working on finding viable solutions.
This also highlights our continued efforts to test and exercise our systems, plans and protocols in the County. By identifying these gaps in our warning systems BEFORE an emergency, we are able to enhance our preparedness.

Is the replacement of that old H.O.R still gonna go through? Did it already?SIRENMAN wrote:Like I said this new staff at E.M.A. are the real deal. They are making their list, and checking it twice to see which sirens were naughty or nice. Seriously these guys are drudging through all the crap that the last incompetent staff left them to clean up. By the time tornado season comes around the system will be 100% operational.
