I thought that they were going to take out all of the speaker drivers and the control box, leaving only the empty fiberglass head and rotator assy.

Do you mean they'll start taking down the 3016s, 2000s, T-Bolts and 2T22s towards the end of this month or beginning of next month???

I was driving through Shrewsbury this morning and noticed that the 3016, which was on Watson Road just west of Trianon Parkway, is gone. Just a short stump of the telephone pole that it was mounted on is all that remains. The 3016 in Webster Groves at Murdoch Avenue and Big Bend Road is still there.

I noticed that, too, that the Whelen 2000 is gone from Lemay Ferry and Butler Hill Rd.

The 3016 is now gone from Hwy. 141 and I-64/Hwy. 40. Also the 4003 is gone from behind the old Sunset Ford building on Gravois Road. And I think the 4003 might be gone from Baptist Church Road just north of Lindbergh Blvd. I didn't see it from my vantage point when I turned into Concord Village Shopping Center, coming in off of Lindbergh, although the gigantasaurus Ronnies Cinema building might've obstructed my view!

Anybody know if any of the T-Bolts are gone yet??? A friend of mine told me last week that the 2T22 in Fenton on Bowles Avenue is still up.

Does anybody know what they're doing with the sirens once they take them down? I don't mean to sound greedy but I've called the company like 15 times and the lady keeps saying "we don't have them yet" and adds me to a list.
Just because you're offended, doesn't mean you're right.

The 3016 on Trampe at Trampe Heights is gone. I heard it during February's test.

That was the test where they accidentally sounded all the old ones wasn't it? I guess it was a "last blast".
